Nicontours isn’t your typical travel company. I explore new places, test out routes and develop experiences right on the ground – together with people who want to join in.

• No meticulously planned holiday.

You don’t need to be a professional. But you should have a taste for real adventure:

• A curiosity about unknown places and routes
• Flexibility when plans change
• No interest in mass tourism
• The courage to play an active part in the expedition

Experience matters less than the right attitude.

Every expedition is different. Sometimes you discover new places, sometimes you test out routes, and sometimes you just see what happens. You won’t know everything in advance – and that’s exactly what makes it so appealing.

I believe the best experiences happen when not everything is planned in advance. 

Instead of selling pre-packaged holidays, I discover places and create adventures on the spot – together with people who are looking for a genuine experience.

Nicontours isn’t a product. It’s a growing project for the right people.

These trips are genuine collaborative projects, not just a booked holiday. To ensure that the logistics, safety in the terrain and team dynamics work well, we won’t set off until we have a fixed group of at least four people (including myself).

It’s all about sharing the load, looking out for one another and functioning as a unit. As soon as the ‘core group’ is in place, we’ll get down to the detailed planning!

I do not charge any fees for organising or leading the expeditions, nor do I derive any financial profit from them.

Nicontours is a leisure project run by like-minded people. Each participant is responsible for covering their own costs (such as travel, food and equipment).
